  • It is a small museum however, they have interesting information about silk production. There were actual silkworms, to view, when I was there. Yokohama silk scarves became famous due to silk productio...  more »
  • A non event, not worth the bother! You can see more at a good quality local shop. A silk shop is attached!! 
  • I spent two hours here easily, learning about silk production (historic/traditional and modern), weaving, and dying. Explanations are in English as well as Japanese. The second floor has the most gorg...  more »

  • It is an interesting place. You can get to know almost everything about silk (even see all those silkworms). Beauliful kimonos are on the second floor. There's a nice shop with silk things and illustrated books about Japanese clothes. I bought one and got a lovely sweet gift=)
  • Appearance does not change from the age of the Showa era I grew up. Just like a Oh, Meiji era? Old, when is the guests can experience the taste of Yokohama opened at that time.
