  • Very interesting place about the history of silk manufacturing in Yokohama. Inside the myseum is a rest/seating area with vending machines serving tea, coffee and other beverages. Well worth the small entrance fee. Seniors even get a discount!]
  • Be amazed with and how that elegant silk cloth came from. Feel and be a part the history how the silk travel to Europe way back ago!
  • It is an interesting place. You can get to know almost everything about silk (even see all those silkworms). Beauliful kimonos are on the second floor. There's a nice shop with silk things and illustrated books about Japanese clothes. I bought one and got a lovely sweet gift=)
  • Great
  • Also look for the entire building anything suspicious atmosphere (excuse me (^ ^;;) While is a neat Museum, is on display upstairs about silk find details, such as how to weave silk for valuable clothes and costumes. I think anyone who likes clothes will especially study! I was studying! It is quite an assortment of gift shops! Yokohama silk scarves, handkerchiefs, tie and silk products are (^ ^) so no one and it is off the beaten path
