Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Yokohama
(3.8/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
Formerly an important staging and customs area for the city's busy port, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse now contains restaurants, shops, galleries, and more within its sturdy walls. This pair of buildings stands out from much of the city's architecture, as the signature red bricks do not feature prominently in historic Japanese construction. Explore the shopping mall within, lined with hardwood flooring, to browse an array of quirky shops selling everything from handmade jewelry to warehouse-themed souvenirs. You can also find a few relatively big-name international brands here. Grab a bite to eat at the food court, which features a range of non-local cuisines and concepts, or head out to the waterfront to enjoy the view over the harbor. • Nice building, with several restaurants and shops. Many tourists, and the prices are accordingly.

  • Often though, and especially shop is the right thing to eat or drink at least fairly crowded! Events are doing like to recommend is!

  • Always enjoy coming here. If you are still in need for a great souvenir, chances are good that you will find something here. Its a perfect place for dating. Eat at one of the many restaurants and then have a walk around the beautiful Yokohama harbor.
  • While the area is amazing, the red brick buildings are nothing but an overpriced tourist trap. They are very crowded taking nearly 5 mins just to get In the doors. I give it 3 stars though as they hold some great beer festivals between the buildings.
  • Nice place to visit in minato mirai, lot's of cafes, restaurants and shopping. Nice sea view.
  • A converted warehouse that houses plenty of stores and restaurants. This is the place to pick up unique souvenirs or specialty products. I really enjoyed walking around this area. The water and great harbour view makes the area feels so serene.
  • I went for October fest great variety of beer and German food, but a bit expensive for me. I'd say go make an entire day of it with friends you will have a great time dancing with strangers and friends enjoying your favorite drinks!
