  • If you are interested in architecture and history, you should visit this place. This year the building celebrated its 100 years. This is the first building in Japan, built in European style, at least, so says Guide. Visit, tour and photo booklet in English is absolutely free. Inside the building is strictly in English style with dark wood panels, multiple portals with geometric patterns. Unfortunately, through a dozen years after the construction of the port was destroyed by the earthquake, and rebuilt in a simpler version, which reached our days. The original idea of the photos remind of the lush, a small number of stained-glass Windows and marble columns in the main hall. A common style of ideas can be seen on the façade.
