Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 170 reviews on the web
Admire a range of modern international and Japanese masterpieces at Yokohama Museum of Art. The building's exterior features distinct symmetrical stonework, culminating in a 20 m (65 ft) high entrance hall covered in granite. Seven other minimalistically designed galleries exhibit modern and contemporary art from the late 19th century onwards. See works of Cezanne, Magritte, and Picasso along with Japanese works dating from the end of the Edo through the Meiji period. The museum frequently organizes special exhibits, and its media center has numerous books and art-related documents. Refresh in the cafe and pick out souvenirs in the gift shop, featuring pieces inspired by art from the museum. • I use with set lunch and the Museum of fine arts on weekdays. Will go in the Museum restaurant, and down in the elevator in the parking lot in the rain without getting wet as in people. Believes it isn't of the Yokohama Museum of art these days is the story here, just think a little bit more luck.

  • Juniors often watching paintings and art at the bullet time has gone early. Fashionable in both appearance and in and out and it was good as was recommended. Open exhibition area on the ground floor of the Museum in the heart of Paris reminded me just a little. Exhibits are quiet and easy to read. Mary Cassatt exhibition now doing your eyes at this time, though. But is also found on the recommendation of the junior painter. ・materials we learned are interested find Morisot favorite friends. Museum of preeminent style overlooking the front garden. ^ _ ^

  • Loved it. Great contemporary and modern art. With a great mixture of European greats and Japanese. Highly recommend the place. Really liked the building, layout and a book which described some of the permanent collection.
  • Relatively close to train station, clean enough. Was also established recently. Participatory events also have sometimes done.

  • It is a very large Museum. I think using a fine time just to briefly tour depending on the content of the exhibition.
