Yokohama Landmark Tower, Yokohama

4.1
Take the lightning-fast elevator up Yokohama Landmark Tower, one of Japan's tallest buildings. You'll ascend at a speed of 12.5 m/s (41 ft/s) to the 69th floor of this 296.3 m (972 ft) high-rise. From there, access the observatory, which enables a 360-degree view of the city and--on a clear day--Mount Fuji. The vast architectural marvel also contains a five-star hotel, shops, restaurants, clinics, and offices. Bear in mind that seismic activity occurs regularly in Japan, but don't worry, since the building contains two tuned mass dampers to counter the quakes. A visit to Yokohama Landmark Tower represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Yokohama road trip planner to plot your vacation.

  • Building is symbolically located in front of Yokohama station. It is famous as the tallest building in Yokohama. On the 69th floor observation deck and climb.

  • In long procession to the floor observation deck before coming here and what you saw was not so pointless to buy tickets soon and we can catch up to the elevator to the observation floor. Up elevator was one. Was admiring the fine is up to. Observation floor which I had had one above or one below, use only the tenants of this building style Conference room floor, and that was a little different and the scenery from there.

  • One of the best observatory I have been to. Till now I have been 6 time to Sky Garden of The Landmark Tower Yokohama but I want to go there again and again. Beauty of this observatory is that you can enjoy sea and city views together. It’s 360 degree so you can see scenic beauty in all the directions. Best time to go there is around 4:00PM in winter and around 5:00PM in summer. During this time you can enjoy daylight views, sunset views and of course later at night stunning night views. There is one cafe also so you can easily spend your time. Highly recommended!!!
  • Wonderful place to visit. We have enjoyed there very much. Yokohama Landmark tower is visible from far away. The Yokohama Landmark Tower Sky Garden is Japan’s highest observation deck on the 69th floor of the Landmark Tower, the tallest building in Yokohama standing at 296 meters. Visitors take Japan’s fastest elevator at 750m/min to reach the observatory in just under 40 seconds. The observatory provides a 360-degree, panoramic view of Yokohama city, the Yokohama Bay Bridge, and the Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji on clear days.If you are going to Japan you must visit Landmark tower.
  • Very beautiful and romantic scenery specially at night. The tower also has an observation deck though you have to pay for entrance. On the lower floors of the land mark tower, there is a very goood choice of restaurants and shopping options which make it ideal for going on a date. The car park in the tower is quite expensive, so using the train would be recommended.
  • If the weather is nice it is definitely worth going up to the oberrvatory for some beautiful views. It costs 1000 yen/adult. If you just want to stroll and look at shops there are plenty inside the tower.
  • This is the place from where you can have the complete view of Yokohama bay area. One of the amazing views to be witnessed to. Do not miss to visit near by bay area if you are around. Especially during the golden hours. There is certain amount of entry fee to visit the view point area. But it's worth the money..
