Yokohama Landmark Tower, Yokohama

4.1
Take the lightning-fast elevator up Yokohama Landmark Tower, one of Japan's tallest buildings. You'll ascend at a speed of 12.5 m/s (41 ft/s) to the 69th floor of this 296.3 m (972 ft) high-rise. From there, access the observatory, which enables a 360-degree view of the city and--on a clear day--Mount Fuji. The vast architectural marvel also contains a five-star hotel, shops, restaurants, clinics, and offices. Bear in mind that seismic activity occurs regularly in Japan, but don't worry, since the building contains two tuned mass dampers to counter the quakes. A visit to Yokohama Landmark Tower represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Yokohama road trip planner to plot your vacation.

  • This neighbourhood has plenty of commercial facilities, particularly high landmark tower stands out immediately. Means of access. And the openness in the stairwell. In the dog yard was previously doing the projection mapping, but now only light up

  • Use this place to do shopping or dining with a friend, when small was going in. Also, go alone. Go visit frequency is once every 2 months. Every time I go to everytime an assortment of shops, some period of time limited events and shops are located. December in the rabbit shop recently and so I went. Professionally designed and designed to feel, would never get bored. If you like believes lunch and tea as some time 4-5 hours, shopping as if 1-recommended two-hour the. Holidays and often see families with strollers. A wider passage to other junk, would. Recommended to go on if you want to see slow may be incorporated in the leg of the tour in in.

  • Excellent views of Yokohama. Not too crowded like Tokyo Skytree but perhaps we went there during non-peak hours during the day. Lift going up to the observation floor was incredibly fast up to 750m/sec. If you're lucky you can see My. Fuji but all we could see was the silhouette. Definitely worth the reasonable entrance fee if you are in Yokohama.
  • Went up just as the sun was starting to set. So cool to see the landscape change with the city lights. Beautiful 360 views, food options, and seating available. Love the water view.
  • The sky garden has a fantastic view over the bay and if the weather is nice of Tokyo too. You can spot the Skytree and Tokyo Tower in the distance. Last entry at 20.30 and the panorama is just as amazing at night if not more so. Reasonable price at only 1000 yen for an adult.
  • A great complex bld. where trendy shops, tasty restaurant, office and especially sky garden terrace there. From the terrace, you can enjoy 360 view in the day time or beautiful night scenery after sunset.
  • Awesome place for all kind of things. Has nice shopping place and has all kind of variety in terms of price and quality . Around landmark tower, there are nice places to hang out and minatomirai is also very nearby
