Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
Meet the red panda at Nogeyama Zoo, the oldest zoo in Yokohama. The most popular attraction here is the petting area, where mice, guinea pigs, snakes, and fantail pigeons can be observed from up close, fed, and touched. A short stroll through this leafy environment uncovers some of the 100 different species that call the zoo their home, including primates, giraffes, bears, and everyone's favorite, the red panda. The zoo was only the second in the world to breed the Andean condor in captivity, and you can still see this majestic creature at the zoo's aviaries.
