Nogeyama Zoo, Yokohama

(4.1/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Meet the red panda at Nogeyama Zoo, the oldest zoo in Yokohama. The most popular attraction here is the petting area, where mice, guinea pigs, snakes, and fantail pigeons can be observed from up close, fed, and touched. A short stroll through this leafy environment uncovers some of the 100 different species that call the zoo their home, including primates, giraffes, bears, and everyone's favorite, the red panda. The zoo was only the second in the world to breed the Andean condor in captivity, and you can still see this majestic creature at the zoo's aviaries. Using our online itinerary creator, Yokohama attractions like Nogeyama Zoo can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • It is a Zoo located on a hillside about 10 minutes walk from Sakuragi-cho station. I think properly even basic animal is free and very good facilities. Even adult raccoons in the short, cute and clean. Cherry blossoms in the Park, so ideal for strolling in the spring.

  • Zoo likes children and admission is not free in the family went. 0 Zoo is located on the Hill of preferred parking lot walking from the parking lot down the mountain, and headed out. I walked a little bit, but in the Middle Park, moved slowly. Zoo was the friendly atmosphere. The children were happy. I think if you go by public transportation now enjoy more?.

  • Once the Yokohama Zoo (Noge) was. Go by bus from Sakuragi-cho, 10 minutes is a short walk from hinodecho station of Keihin-Kyuko. Yet child of the Asian elephant was popular. Yokohama now and big Zoo three times, the Zoological Garden Zoorasia, Kanazawa Zoo and theme park-style is becoming a trend. Msgid shirokuma Hall, and the old elephant House might be in such circumstances, the Yoshi square or corner replaced is kinda disappointing. Disappear beast Hall is conveniently located in the residential area for the future? He said. I'd personally focus on familiar animals in Kanagawa, Japan-specific species, will give the spot direction, that I felt like. If you want, go to another Zoo I saw Tiger and Lion, the world's rarest animals from.
