  • The model trains made by Nobutaro Hara are a work of art requiring real craftsmanship, and you can tell how good he is by looking at the amount of intricacy and detail in each model engine on display....  more »
  • It is a walk from the East exit of Yokohama station, 5 minute walk to the train museum. We went with the 3-year-old son. Children as well as adults can enjoy.

  • Fun place to share with the grandchildren. Everything is done with great care and detail. The man was ahead of his time.
  • Wonderful collection or train miniatures and several large railway system models. Collection has interesting and touching story behind. Great place to visit for both adults and kids.
  • They have two large operating layouts. You can drive trains on one of the layouts, it's fantastic.
  • Older son likes trains and Odakyu events during visits. Is smaller than the Railway Museum, Saturday was, but was not crowded so much. Are nice and ask what story is to become a driver of the Odakyu romance car, ⚪ ︎ × participate in the quiz, parent-child with people very helpful. Space play with Thomas PLA rail, even small children can enjoy it. So far we can drive the train two and my son was driving seriously. It is also driving a rather long. Ticket? Just because I do, and is great as a parent. Nice hotel staff.

  • That has come is overwhelming to the sophistication of the diorama. Yokohama diorama is small but smaller and an elaborate model enjoy the flow of time, Meiji, Taisho, Showa, continues see forget time. Bring Opera glasses are always piled into the car! So regret that I take the next time.
