Yanagawa River Boat, Yanagawa

Categories: Ferries, Transportation
Inspirock Rating:
2.5/5 based on a few reviews on the web
See scenes of the old town from the canal that runs through it on Yanagawa River Boat. The traditional wooden boats, steered with a pole by a boatman at the back of the vessel, float slowly around the canal system of the historic castle town. Along the way, you'll take in sights of the trees, traditional Japanese storehouse architecture, and daily life in the town. Watch how the steerers carefully guide the boats and their handful of passengers, with the peaceful, ambling tours lasting around 1 hour and 10 minutes. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Yanagawa holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Yanagawa River Boat and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Canal tour will run and boatman long bamboo boat while. The home track of Kitahara hakusyu in the homegrown lived mainly houses on either side along the coast of Edo, preserving the long branches of the willow tree. Ships sometimes pass each other like we have not just two people and have fun with my family. It's full time.
