2017/10/31に西沢渓谷を歩いてきました。ここは一周10kmの分かり易いルートになっています。往路は渓谷沿いを歩くルートで、滝や川が近く、濡れた岩の上を横の鎖を持ちながら歩くところが数か所あり、傾斜部分もますので、きちんとした登山靴が必要です。最深部に休憩する場所とトイレがあり、皆さんそこでランチタイムです。復路はトロッコ軌道跡に沿って快適な落ち葉の散歩道を戻ってくるルートですので楽です。駐... more »

Nishizawa ravine walked on 10/31/2017. Here is a easy-to-understand around 10 km route. Outbound route along the River Valley walk, walks with the next strand on rocks near waterfalls, rivers, wet but neat and several places, partly graded, so climbing shoes are required. Toilet with a place to rest in the deepest part and everyone there is. Return route leaves a pleasant walk back along the railway tracks is so easy. Parking is free of charge, on weekdays morning at 7 o'clock go to their will. Holidays are like Super crowded. Rhododendrons in May and October fall foliage is popular.

東京から2時間という触れ込みだけど、実際にはもう少しかかる。久しぶりの晴れた週末で連休だったので、帰りの渋滞がひどく5時間かかった。自由対しやすいので、それほど気楽にはいかれない。それでも、紅葉は、すばらしい。入り口までは広い道なので、そこまで歩くだけでも結構楽しめる。駐車場も結構ある。500円。 more »

天気予報を見て、11月7日（火）に行きました。行きはトランプさんが韓国へ出発する影響で圏央道の大渋滞に巻き込まれ、現地到着が11時40分過ぎ。平日なので道の駅の駐車場は、すいていました。歩き始めたのは11時50分。日に照らされた紅葉の鮮やかさに感嘆。前半は渓谷沿いの川の流れや奇岩を眺めながらのハイキング。途中、持参したホットコーヒーと道の駅で購入したお団子で休憩。変化に飛んだ風景を満喫。後半は廃止... more »

Watching the weather forecast, I went to 11/7 (Tuesday). Go cards, is due to depart for Korea area after 11:40 arrivals, caught in the traffic jam of the Central Road. On weekdays so the station parking lot was hungry. 11:50 was started to walk. On the day and marvel at the vibrant fall foliage lit. The hiking views along the Valley of the river flow and rock formations in the first half. A break in a bun at station road and along the way, brought hot coffee purchased. Enjoy the scenery flew to change. Enjoyed walking along the railway train was later abolished, distant vistas of the mountains also provide substantive fall foliage hike. 満足感のある渓流歩きです。こんなかぶりつきで延々手付かずの渓流を見られる処も珍しい。その意味では奥入瀬以上のクオリティ。その代わり道は悪いです。渓流釣りや登山レベルです。後半の滝エリアはずっと鎖場…的でスニーカーじゃ天気によっては辛い。手持ちのボストンバッグも辛いですね。リュック必須と言えそうです。トレッキングポールもあると楽。アップダウンも結構あります。うっかり足元軽装で来てしまった場合は滝側ではなく森林軌線側だけにするといいでしょう。こちらは公園と同じ感覚で歩けます。昔あったドライブインや山小屋は今は閉業の処が多いので行動食と飲み物はあった方が安心です。一周真っ直ぐ歩いて4時間、写真撮ったり見晴らし台でゆっくりしたいなら5時間は見た方が良いです。特に後半滝側を通るつもりなら滝側だけで2時間以上は見るべきです。

西沢渓谷は大好きで何度も行っています。冬は軽アイゼン程度で歩けます。ただ、雪降った後だと、七ツ釜五段の滝手前の道が埋もれるので、巻くのがちょっと危険です。

お弁当を持っていきましょう。渓谷入口の売店でモチだけ食べて渓谷を歩きましたが予想以上にアップダウンがある上に長く、おなかが空いて疲れ倍増。景色はモチロン綺麗でした。
