Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web
At the higher altitudes of Yamagata Zao Onsen Ski Resort, Siberian winds cake trees in ice and snow to create "snow monsters," a rare sight that gives the destination an otherworldly aspect. With a 305 hectare (754 acre) area predominantly made up of beginner and intermediate runs, the resort makes a good place for those newer to the sport to hone their skills in a dramatic and picturesque location. If you're looking to take lessons, be aware that English tutelage is only offered privately. After carving it up on the slopes, head to the resort's hot spring facilities to give your muscles a well-deserved soak. In winter, a trip to the top of the mountain reveals the striking image of the illuminated snow monsters. • Weather first heart. Fine, done six times twice. But good luck. Powder, so it is not very often. Hard snow. Next to the large snowstorm and local people was lost it. Next move, is a pain in the borders. Had not played since the tubing is made to pay this year. Five years ago it was free but is a pity. I would like this where no sense of business. Lift company at any time even turned on, is a complex, but users are inconvenient and feel bad. I do one like the Nozawa Onsen. Rarely lift discounts are also staying at the hotel I feel that loss. I hope altogether harder. It compared or Nozawa Onsen is are falling apart. I think also to vertical feel paralyzed snow and the rime is ZAO. Far from Tokyo and want to go again.

  • → Kyushu is. Anyway it is decay ski area. Slippery answer 10 minutes in enough amount of snow. On the other hand, you could improve the access of the gentle slopes and thankfully (tie of course). Looking forward seeing clouds from the top, depending on the conditions, could see some unusual jizo is different.
