Katsuren Castle Ruins, Uruma
Categories: Castles, Tourist Spots
Head up the limestone hills to admire the design and history of Katsuren Castle Ruins, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built around the turn of the 14th century CE, the castle had what has often been called its "golden age" during the middle of the 15th century, when it was ruled by Lord Amawari, a leader who had risen from poverty and adversity to a position of great power. Learn about the history of the site from a number of panels dotted around the ruins, and take a few moments to admire the extensive coastal views offered from this point, 98 m (322 ft) above sea level. Before since I was and wanted to visit. We recommend watching than looking at the home page description height, towering wide ruins. See description of the workings of the ruins of a castle and ruins in the virtual Smartphone heard and was very informative. FreeWi-Fi was great to charge pretty much has worn out. Worth the watch isshow original
This is the castle I show all the visitors to the island. Great for families, amazing views, tons of ruins to oogle at.
It is a castle recently found about ancient Roman coins in the mass media, etc.. Had a small Castle Island Okinawa awase, the ikei Island stunning views. This is where you want to recommend us.show original
