  • Is a Buddhist temple located in the mountains. For the various buildings are scattered in the mountains, pretty and descended the stairs do not. Famous five-storied pagoda there is only about 16 meters in height, as a five-story pagoda in outdoor minimum is a thing. From the station of Muro mouth Ono bus about 15 minutes. It is recommended that we have enough time because of less frequent trains and buses.

  • Rented a car from Nara and did a loop to Mt Yoshino and Muroji dam and temple were part of that loop. Beautiful colors from greens to yellows to oranges to reds to purples to browns. Absolutely worth ...  more »
  • Much smaller than thought and the smallest one in Japan as the Tower on the outdoor, the moment I saw it. 18 m in height and because there is little smaller than the common three-storied pagoda, the environment around 10 m bit in place but do not feel. Also second oldest as a five-story pagoda and the pair making is quite simple. Feel it's smallness and the even number of years training you can make.
