  • Zen temple to visit, miles away from the tourist attractions of Kyoto. Place quiet, withdrawn from the city, stripped and without primer. Captivating atmosphere. Mori Ogai is buried in the small cemetery which adjoins the entrance.

  • It is not very big, a bit run down, but my 4 stays in the Japan, maybe it's my favorite place. Even if "it is a few hundred meters from the train station to Tsuwano, he is isolated, hillside, in the middle of forests and old cemeteries. Buildings and two or three gardens are small but beautiful. The scenery and views of the Daimyo rest rooms are splendid. The place exudes the calm and serenity. This temple is a real gem. I could spend hours sitting in this place. Unknown, I was only here... While I've seen crowds in other areas much less remarkable. Pity that there is so few visitors, while the building decays. If it is, they have had my entry of the day for this little gem. How can they maintain this building with my only 300Y? I feel bad for this place. But I'm glad to have seen.
