  • A 10 minutes walk from JR Tsuwano station. Staff is great and demanding ascent trail is quite steep and bad feet I get. I knew for the first time are 37 people died in severe torture in the early days of the Meiji era from Nagasaki's urakami sent to Tsuwano 153 kakure Kirishitan, pressing for the conversion. From a very peaceful atmosphere that sad history and the place of current thinking of various things. Very neatly cleaned and disinfected and is to preserve the historical fact now it's found. As a legacy of history rather than as a regular tourist destination, remember to tell felt a valuable place.
