Toga Shrine is a Shinto shrine in the city of Toyokawa in eastern Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is the ichinomiya of former Mikawa Province. Located on the borderland of Aichi with Shizuoka Prefecture, the summit of Mount Hongū 782m is considered to be within the precincts of the shrine, and has a subsidiary chapel.Enshrined ''kami''The main kami of Toga Shrine is Ōkuninushi.HistoryThe origins of Toga Shrine are unknown. The shrine claims to have been founded in the Taihō period (701-704 AD) by Emperor Mommu. It is located in an area of eastern Mikawa with a favorable climate, which has been settled since at least the Jōmon period. One of the treasures of the shrine is a Yayoi period dōtaku bronze bell, possibly recovered from a burial mound in the area. The shrine is mentioned as the ichinomiya of Mikawa Province in the Engishiki records from the early Heian period. However, repeated fires and other disasters over the centuries have destroyed all of the old shrine records and buildings.

From Mikawa ichimiya station on IIDA line 10 min walk. Collect the faith since ancient times as the Mikawa Ichinomiya shrine. Your environment is very large, West stone Torii gate is quite an old Torii with scars of war remain. Ebisu, next to the Toga shrine. It is a quiet shrine sacred airflow.

We have seen the horseback archery. Foil really shoot an arrow so the kids rider will race with open arms on horseback. In all 12 head and about two hours, were hung on the resultant lionhearted Baba shrine. By rail because I feel powerful.

Worshippers are not good. I think somehow, purification of the shrine is a high threshold, smoothly finished. It was good.

I went to the purification of automobile. After a series of ceremonies one congratulation to guests. Seal of the purification can be put. Pebble is power of "big in Japan" Toyokawa city.

The crowded, weekend in congratulation. Azalea is 6,000 yen, 1000 yen higher okumiya setting. Takes its place alongside other various prayers, prayers of the other a certain number and wait until. As to traffic new year's road to the parking lot crowded. Under rice's parking lot at once relatively open time slot.

Air of dignity as one of the great shrine. To train people, and Mikawa-Ichinomiya station and straight road from the Toga shrine. After enjoying the IIDA line casual return to Nagashino Castle visit, convenient Palace one can say. I think many or large pebble in your environment, aesthetics, insta.
