Closed, then with Tobu department store building, has been expanded. Tobu department store Ikebukuro is B1B2 Food Center this year is "thank 55th Anniversary" is. In the sense that over the years completely overlap the layers of cake and the stores had put out the features.

  • Great place for shopping, entertaining friends .... has great shops and on top floors many good value restaurants. easy access by JR Train or Metro Lines - Ikebukuro Station is located very nearby
  • This one is a little less contemporary compared to those department stores in Ginza and Shibuya. However, the shopping experience was good. It's a little hard to navigate in the store because of its long-shaped layout and how the two parts of the new building and old building connects. The food court in the basement is like snack heaven. All kinds of Japanese dessert with renowned historical brands, as well as a tea shop from Kyoto where you can taste and buy high quality authentic Uji macha and macha brewing equipment (cha sen).
  • Very nice basement food shops. Quite expensive, but the quality and variety are amazing. If you go there around 8:30PM you'll get discounts on the food that is made to be eaten on the sale day.
  • Tried to get some assistance with a purchase on the 3rd floor, but the sales staff wouldn't help. They just walked away. It wasn't a language issue because I was speaking Japanese.
  • Great desserts here!
