Meguro River, Tokyo

Categories: Bodies of Water, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Take a stroll along the banks of Meguro River, a river flowing through the city and into Tokyo Bay. The concrete walls of the river give it the appearance of an urban canal, but the public space either side offers plentiful areas of well-maintained greenery, gardens, and lawns. The river provides a welcome reprieve from the stresses of the capital city, and has become particularly popular for its cherry blossom trees, leaning in and over the water from opposite banks to create a tunnel of blossom in some areas. • The edge of the Meguro River is known for its cherry trees that offer an exceptional landscape during the Hanami, to enjoy at best simply on the Toyoko Line Naka-Meguro station. This area is really nice, in the 2000s, it was still a pretty popular, now it is is much "boboisé". The evening you can enjoy its many bars and restaurants next to the river. The neighborhood is very nice in the spring and summer.

  • When the Typhoon was wow like a torrent and gentle river flow is normal. It also increased thanks to the Pokemon GO. Spring is famous for cherry blossoms.
