Witness the natural spectacle of sulfur vents at Iouzan, an active volcano releasing sulfuric gases that often cause the surrounding landscape to turn yellow. A short 2.5 km (1.55 mi) scenic walk from the nearby town or from the onsite parking lot brings you right to the steaming vents and the rocky, barren landscape. The parking lot's fee includes access to the Lake Mashu caldera viewpoint. Plan to see Iouzan and other attractions that appeal to you using our Teshikaga-cho vacation generator.
