  • This was supposed to be the main attraction of our trip. It was carefully planned, studying route and walking trails along the way. We knew that traversing the route in a day would be very hectic so p...  more »

Most visitors staying in Tateyama-machi opt for accommodations near the alpine route and Mount Tate, although a few options--mostly three-star hotels--lie in the small town, near the train station.
