Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
Famous for its sands made of billions of tiny dead starfish, Hoshisuna Beach features a number of reefs and curious offshore rock formations covered with greener. Forming a half-closed bay with a micro climate, the beach offers good swimming and snorkeling opportunities. You can walk in the shallows and puddles during low tide, or rent snorkeling equipment at a facility right across the beach and wait for high tide. Huge differences in tide leave large pools filled with vivid marine life. You can dine in a nice restaurant nearby and the beach, some 10-15 minutes by car from Uehara, has toilet facilities. • This is the Gulf of kawahira of Ishigaki with a small beach. Star sand does not look better and not found, are sold in the shops near.

  • When I visited was cloudy, so pretty! Was not the impression the sandy beaches to reef immediately, so the water was clean. I think perhaps, hopefully sunny day, the impression changes. Famous for a snorkeling point as is felt because it was low tide, or at best was only deep in the thigh, so Finn and firmly to snorkeling in. Kids snorkel experience rich in fish even in shallow water, however, so a good place to be.
