  • It does not take more than 20 minutes to visit this enchanting well preserved Geisha House. It is really authentic and instructive about the ways of old Japanese entertainment.  more »
  • This is a worthwhile visit for any design buff. The house is a high-watermark of Japanese design and has excellent use of materials with fine detailing. It is mostly empty, and feels somewhat forgotte...  more »

  • Beautiful! A must for architecture fans and to understand how Japanese houses work, lively gardens and nice art art work on the walls.
  • Worth visiting. Great surprise. Good information. A family house to understand Japanese interior architecture.
  • Visit a traditional Japanese house.
  • You must really be into abstract Japanese writing and not expect large numbers of paintings to visit this house. The Bach playing in the background may give it the artsy touch - but the place lacks atmosphere. Even the smells ate wrong, there's something unpleasant lingering in the air. Much rather go next door to the Kusakabe Mingeikan folk museum for the same feeling (and a tea).
  • Not much to see here and no explanations in English.
