By car from Takayama city 7-8 minute Hill, private art galleries and museums. Demystify the history of mankind, Earth and certain religious groups until 20 years ago in the thing, let collected West paintings, the exhibition complex is. Manufacturing is truly awesome. That is a Hall of Fame of the Cretaceous. Personally I was impressed of Barbizon Camille Corot made the four-point, 3-point of fauvism Vlaminck (was? ) I've found. Is the Museum worth Vlaminck alone. And personally I think. After Van Gogh, Renoir, Taikan and to Sharaku's date of death and the street artist's feeling is. Real hands-on and video booth posted up and was found to provide children with a scientific approach and attitude. If you tired of the high mountain city's hustle and bustle, take a look at feet delayed you want. Some sisters between Hida Takayama Museum of art and the Museum. There is a garage and sell works of Art Nouveau. I noticed one was the cathode-ray tube equipment to show images and video booth and was not warm-water bidet toilet. Where was made 20 years have passed since you want converted into and.

The Museum contains some wonders. A Van Dongen and a Corot of beauty. But the kitsch framework gives me cold sweats. Information taken, it is a cult. This museum is a showcase for an ideology of little zen.

A great collection of both fine art and artefacts that represent ancient civilisations. The memorial hall for the founder of the Mahikari organisation is like no other memorial I've seen. The last room is awe inspiring!

Where to stay in Takayama

Look along the banks of the river running north-south through Takayama for arguably the town's best accommodations. Traditional ryokan (guesthouses) with onsite onsen (traditional Japanese spas) occupy scenic positions across this central area, displaying fine carpentry skills of the locals and the distinctive architectural style they developed over the years. West of this area, you'll find a number of basic ryokan, with a decent selection of side-street hostels and standard hotels around the train station.
