  • We saw more than20 buildings from around the island relocated to this area. It is easy to reach by the light rail system and worth at least half a day. Several places to eat there or nearby.  more »

  • Really interesting museum of an old Japanese Village. There is a lot to see here, spent about an hour or more within the museum. There is also an art gallery here but there is no English signs to read about the art, so you miss out on the intimate details of the art. It's about a 15 minute walk from Yashima station. I'd recommend looking up the train schedule for Yashima station before leaving for the Museum, as trains are infrequent here. That way you can coordinate the train schedule with how long you wish to spend at the Museum.
  • Pretty cool. Lots of historical buildings.
  • Beautiful old houses and farms. Some english explanations.
  • A small open air museum of traditional buildings. Worth a visit.
  • Nice overview about Shikoku rural life.
