  • That the God of the Arts went is small, but that not at all edges. Very as the shrine is a shrine attractions. You can just be 1周 around the shrine. Rain was falling in the morning on weekdays and almost no one did. Amulet fortune and is very cheap.

  • Large parking lot has already been written but shrine itself was small. Still next to the Office of a friend. Than tourists from afar to locals had come from neighborhood and seem to be relatively more visits. It was easy to get car because driving directions from the center of town. However, when oncoming traffic because the narrow road to the parking area of the shrine, Torii gate is located along the great Highway and driving through the had give and take.

  • Most knock on wood, small, but very good shrine. And enter the path from route? Is partly due to large parking lot, but I think that, like the popular shrine. Selling honey next to the main building when I went and was, is and 1 kg whopping 3,000 yen! Prices said. I feel fine.

Where to stay in Takachiho-cho

Where the mountain roads all convene at Honmachi, the main accommodations of Takachiho-cho can be found. As with other important locations in Japanese mythology and spirituality, Takachiho-cho possesses a good mix of simple guesthouses for pilgrims and backpackers, as well as some upmarket options, including luxury hotels and traditional guesthouses with limited numbers of rooms and quintessentially Japanese decorations throughout. Follow each of the main roads out of town, and you'll find similar options in more isolated locations.
