  • Leaving Nippori station, the enfilade of Yanaka Ginza street is crowded, and you can find absolutely everything in the shops: fabrics, dishes, gifts, Bazaar items, food, etc... Interesting to see Walkabout and the variety of things for sale.

  • We visited yanaka ginza in the evening, which added to a nice atmosphere. Very authentic feel to the place. I recommend walking from yanaka ginza the ueno Park, as the way the is really beautiful
  • We went to the "Yanaka Ginza shopping district" for the first time. Knowing the shooting ban. It has been showered roar from the store back in only towards the camera. I learned for the first time this thing and search for "Yanaka Ginza shooting prohibited". We went from Nippori Station, but you feel that well-known lack completely without a guide, such as handed out leaflets also the entrance of the shopping street, also shooting ban along the way from the train station. Shooting ban billboards in places ranging in such temple is installed has been well-known. Mince and was delicious but was a place you do not want to visit again
  • It's not one of those famous tourists stop, and for this reason it's one of the best place to go if you want to experience the real (and oldest) Tokyo: this place hasn't been destroyed during the war, so you will find many old and original buildings. The place if full of free cats (so it's called the cats district) and there's a (very) big Cemetery (as odd it may sounds it's really unique and beautiful).
  • This place preserves the old atmosphere. I liked the not only Yanaka Ginza but also its neighborhood as well - Very calm and cozy!
  • Cool neighborhood, nice market. Good prices.
