Where to stay in Suwa

As the city of Suwa is famous for its ryokans--traditional Japanese guesthouses built at hot springs--most tourists opt to stay in one of these. Also known as onsen hotels, the establishments offer guests access to swim in the region's healing waters. If you're traveling on a budget, you should consider a homestay, basic hotel, or camping on the west side of the lake.

  • I visited during a trip under the Suwa. On the way you have to go around by bicycle Lake Suwa and his eldest son found here. Grabbing so whats the ¥ 100 pork here. Pork is very fixture plenty crowded so CP is outstanding. Meals rather than on feeding is recommended. You can admire the Lake while eating pork. You can also buy the stalls souvenirs for miso in the hotel, so I totally love miso.
