Tokyo Skytree, Sumida
(4.4/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Find the center of the retail area that surrounds the skyscraper at Tokyo Skytree, a complex of restaurants and offices. Opened in 2012, the tower's mirrored glass facade neatly complements the severe metallic look of the broadcasting tower that dominates the area. The focal point of a wider commercial and business center at the foot of the skyscraper, the tower offers a number of fine dining and fast food restaurants catering to a range of tastes, including traditional Japanese cuisine, and international chains. • 周邊範圍熱鬧,晴空塔附近的廣場10分波美食,晴空塔入場費比起亞洲其他國家也便宜,夜晚來看夜景是一絕的選擇,帶埋小朋友來會更開心。
  • Take a wait, but it's worth it! Super fast upward (350 m) and beautiful views. What a huge city is this. Wait clear weather off, otherwise it might be against. With us it was bright, but yet not so that you could see Mount Fuji, with a little imagination and a magnification was the tip. You can do 100 m higher, have we not done: do a little regret.

  • Fantastic view. Recommend to go up during the day close to sunset then find a west view and watch the sun set. The revel of Mt. Fuji as the sun sets is amazing! The system setup for foreigners (bring your passport) is amazing and very efficient. Very well run, I was surprised and how quick the lines were running.
  • The view here is fantastic, I recommend going during the day when it's clear because although the night view is mesmerizing it's not really very different from any other lit up city at night. During the day you can even see Mt. Fuji from the top, not to mention take some great pictures of Tokyo's unique landscape. The amount small buildings crammed together is truly astounding.
  • Went to visit this place with my boyfriend on a weekday (Thursday) night at 8:05PM. There weren't a lot of people so you can basically have the whole window by yourself! Haha! The night view of the city is spectacular! On the Tokyo Skytree Tembo Deck Floor 350 is a small cafe called Skytree Cafe. If you buy any refreshments or food there then you'll be able allowed in the area where there are sofas and free standing bar counter by the windows. You can basically relax and rest your feet here while enjoying the view of the city lights. We were the only ones at that spot so it was very relaxing.
  • Amazing breathtaking views! 100% recommended. Sometimes the queue gets a little bit long but goes pretty fast. We went there for sunset but we arrived to late. They have shows during these days mainly for children on the first stop at 340-350m. But i also enjoyed it. I think they repeat the show every 30min. One of the best views of the city. I saw it at night and was breathtaking!
  • Skytree is a great place to visit by itself though the area around it is perhaps not as interesting as Tokyo Tower. It is also a lot spendier than Tokyo Tower. That said, it is worth it. Great windows and views. As well the supporting Skytree town has everything you need and the hotel next door (Richmond) is also excellent. Skytree is great by itself, but add in everything around it and you have a great home base for a Tokyo trip.
