The Tower of the Sun, Suita

4.3
Providing a memorable backdrop for a few snapshots of the city, The Tower of the Sun sits within a park created for the Expo '70, the first World's Fair ever held in Asia. The statue is around 65 m (213 ft) tall, with both of its arms 25 m (82 ft) long. The sun wears three faces in this sculpture--a golden mask on top, a black one on the back, and a red on the front. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Suita holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the The Tower of the Sun and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • The Solar tower is a Dabanfu, as long as the weather is not too bad, it is worth seeing. Away from the train station, you can already have a vision of this building. When you have a machine, it is recommended to be on the Internet and to be able to look at the exhibits-the Tree of life, nearly 50 years ago.

  • The opportunity to visit this "friend" is to see the place where the 20 century youth is known. The park is a large park with all kinds of flowers, only my visit is late June, did not catch up in the flowering season, only to the Sun Tower to the holy.

  • To the Tower of the Sun without reservation and without. Time to park and whacked. Very interesting exhibitions of the Expo so look you want. Some people have seen in 見renakatta, maybe you have a lot of Tower of the Sun. There have been out, interesting.

  • I think it is a good place to relax at weekend because it is wide enough to spend a day. In addition, in the spring around early April, cherry blossom is full bloom, and it is so amazing. Besides, it also includes the garden of flowers in a hill, Japanese garden, small museum.... I suggest you to go camping here, and you can go to the observation desk to see whole thing from high view, very beautiful.
  • A fantastically bizarre structure and an important symbol of Osaka. Located next to expo city and in the expo park, there's loads to do. The view from the Ferris wheel is also stunning. Looking forward to when it will be open for viewing from the inside.
  • This is a pretty cool place to visit even though it is a little dated now. Make sure you walk completely around it to see everything.
  • Wonderful park, I come here as often as I can. Its huge and has so many different aspects you can keep coming and discover something new with every visit. You also have the treat of watching each new season unfold. They really work hard to display the flowers and plants of different times of the year. Easy to park and (relatively) easy to come by train. If you are in Kansai, its worth the trip.
