The Tower of the Sun, Suita

4.3
Providing a memorable backdrop for a few snapshots of the city, The Tower of the Sun sits within a park created for the Expo '70, the first World's Fair ever held in Asia. The statue is around 65 m (213 ft) tall, with both of its arms 25 m (82 ft) long. The sun wears three faces in this sculpture--a golden mask on top, a black one on the back, and a red on the front. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Suita holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the The Tower of the Sun and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • In childhood and Sungkyunkwan is the Tower of the Sun I got excited. When in 1970, since unchanged is the Tower of the Sun over the years. If you close your eyes and remind us around the Pavilion.

  • The Tower of the Sun came into view from the Monorail to Itami airport. Spontaneously take photos just landed at the station. Closer and bigger, so big I'm-! I was impressed with. The face and turns back another. Didn't know I. I thought, this time without the 見renakatta slowly, so next time I want to see slowly.

  • To mention the park, many people will 諗 the Sun's tower in the first place. After the left car has been able to see the tower near the left tree and the grass, there is no large architecture is a good special scenery

  • Wonderful park, I come here as often as I can. Its huge and has so many different aspects you can keep coming and discover something new with every visit. You also have the treat of watching each new season unfold. They really work hard to display the flowers and plants of different times of the year. Easy to park and (relatively) easy to come by train. If you are in Kansai, its worth the trip.
  • You will surely love the illumination festival every December! This tower is perfectly viewed at night during this festival.
  • I'd come sit everyday during autumn. Except for the cherry blossom, nothing worth seeing during winter & spring time. I don't like the giant penguin with owl face (Tower of the Sun).
  • A weird tower that reminds me of the 20th century boys manga.
  • Japanese Nikki de Saint Phalle in huge size
