Tokyo German Village, Sodegaura
(3.5/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
See the Japanese perspective on rural German life at Tokyo German Village, a family amusement and cultural park with a distinctly Germanic look and feel. The park's architecture has a Bavarian look to it, with tall towers and long, thin windows, although the purples, pinks, and blues used throughout are not usually associated with Gothic architecture. Take a stroll through the impressive flower gardens, and stop off for a beer and a bratwurst at one of the eateries decked out with Germanic artifacts, artworks, and clothes. Make Tokyo German Village a centerpiece of your Sodegaura vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Sodegaura family vacation planner.

  • I wanted to go ago, went on the tour. It was beautiful. Said is on weekdays though quite crowded, but still hungry. So I think the holidays quite crowded. Site wide, maybe walking around and 30-40 minutes if a photo around while I think. Place called Lookout will see the whole clean. Get walk 5-7 minutes from the bus stop. Ferris wheel, but on weekdays was waiting 30 minutes to 5:30. Fee is 500 yen. I would wait until there were around this time of year if you're in the 5 o'clock dark to ride a Ferris wheel.

  • Before the crowds arrived in daylight, yet went to the Observatory and waited for the lights. Approach on time and arrived in large tour buses very crowded, so better wait as soon as possible. Illumination is very impressive. So, despite the bad weather seen from the Ferris wheel seen from the Observatory after is (there are tour buses from the weather no matter what even), Ferris was waiting 40 minutes I gave up. Walking into the lights, close look at the very beautiful and from far and near, and enjoy both. Nice shop I was in but still watch is light land prices. Wow matrix for women toilet too. It seems watching illuminations gone too soon and having done all, and go home early.

  • In Tokyo Germany village knew a few years ago. Never visited, and in the mountains of the Chiba and Tokyo, rather than have been licked. However, a few days from Yokohama, there was coverage splendor of illumination on TV before over the Aqua-line for about an hour, so we went. Felt, how to move in the car's system seemed to surprise and illumination purposes was very widely in the garden. It was convenient. Families with small children, then fatigue tokishirazu, is enjoyed in many places. And the darkened fairyland looks like in the garden lights are lit and the. Network ground every multicolored lights, but most of the Centre of the Park, buildings, animals and plants Mo! what's shiny brilliantly, in three dimensions, is a fine. "And this was! "And I was impressed. Tokyo Germany village bad not me! This is the impression of it and try to go.

  • I was there in the end of January. Teir illumination is incredible! That was really impressive. I heard they also have flower fields in summer. I am definitely going.
  • Big, not very crowded at all and easy to park anywhere!! Very nice for families and young kids... And big kids. Lots of activities and plenty to do for the day.
  • Great for families, wide open spaces. Not too crowded, great food and beer, nice gardens!
  • Many type of flowers available. The view is stunning. A good place to visit or having a picnic
  • You can play and walk with your own or its Dog Land's dogs there. Putting golf courses, vegetable and fruit picking, and fun downhill slide. They are not really German, but very enjoyable for couples and families.
