Going in the movie village, nostalgic Showa-era buildings and household goods stored intact. After the souvenir shop and walk towards the back of the coast while looking around. Building of the elementary school was used in the film are kept the movie filming equipment and film posters are exhibited in the classroom. 12 children that appeared in the film 24 eyes to woman's teacher is lifelike and realistic image, stood in the square. Japan movie fans, cinema village is a must-see experience even of the Showa era.

Where to stay in Shodoshima-cho

Like most island destinations, the town of Shodoshima-cho has a number of resorts and hotels to choose from in the city center and by the seaside. However, you'll also find a few affordable guesthouses as an alternative to the luxurious options. For young backpackers or others traveling on a budget, consider staying at a youth hostel among the olive groves. Be sure to reserve your room in advance during peak season, which consists of the summer months, as well as October and November, when the leaves change color. At other times the island remains very quiet, making it easier to find accommodations.
