  • The private universities are what looks like every college in the premises. But the theatre is special. Also liked the play of course not so worth is. A few years ago went to the exhibition of Matsumoto kōshirō. The fan was happy.

  • Open Campus open to everyone so symbolizes Waseda temperament. By all means available to members of the public as well as the cafeteria, so interested in Waseda. Recently built new buildings, stylish cafes and more that the atmosphere has changed.

  • This university is not for me. Didn’t have the experience that I expected. Not a good environment for me to grow and fulfill my potential at the age of 19. Thinking of transferring. By the way I’m from SILS.
  • I studied here as part of the CGL Japanese language course. For our main course of the first term we had to memorise a chapter of Minna No Nihongo per day to be tested on them every morning, then spend 3 boring hours being "taught" the same material we were just tested on. Other courses all consisted of being given lists of random words centered around whatever the theme of the course was and being told to memorise them. Nothing more. Kanji was taught in a random order by what they looked like (aka the worst way to learn). Advanced students who wanted easy credits filled all of the beginner classes, pushing up the level and making them too difficult for beginners. Overall, all of the courses were just poorly designed and it seemed like the teachers didn't put in a lot of effort. Teachers also laughed cruelly whenever you make any mistake and ridiculed you in front of the class. You're treated like a highschool student and not a university one, for example having to ask to go to the toilet. The courses have an automatic fail if you miss too many, even if you bring in a doctor's note and pass the exams (this isn't a visa issue, just a stupid university policy). I really expected better from a university that so many Japanese people speak so highly of. The fees are double a regular language school and no in way worth it.
  • Good school. Top notch!
  • Nice university obviously, but there's way too many people on campus. Personally I didn't have too much fun at this uni... and the location is awful. You'd wonder if you are really in Tokyo, not the countryside.
  • I have been stydying there. It is great
