Surrounded by some of Tokyo's tallest buildings, Shinjuku Chuo Park offers opportunities for strolling, playing, and picnicking under cherry trees. This compact oasis of greenery and tranquility features many sculptures, a shrine, an artificial waterfall, and exercise areas, where you can play basketball, baseball, or soccer. Look for a set of 12 hanging bells that constitute a sculpture call the "Peace Carillion." Young families and office employees remain the most frequent visitors of the park. • This is a small park and doesn't have as much beauty as a tourist would want. However, it's really nice to see where Japanese people like to go to take a break. It is a very relaxed park.  more »
  • Was used in the cherry blossom viewing in the workplace. The Park has a small waterfall, and weekend events are held at the Plaza in front of the. It seems fewer cherry trees can see Tokyo Metropolitan Government building are lit up at night, but crowds are not so on the medium. Also buy a few nearby maruetsu, a convenience store and a Domino's Pizza is so very good. Get off at Oedo Line tocho-Mae, now.

  • This is a decent park for an hour stroll. The park somehow manages to be a quiet haven from the hectic streets of the city.  more »

  • Lots of trees and shade and lots of room to walk around. Nice place for small kids: Has some turtle families they can stop and see, and a big play area for kids at the north end of the park, with a jungle gym and a kind of giant slide and big sandbox, and a nice in-park small cafe nearby that make-it-yourself kakigori in the summer—which goes nicely with the giant じゃぶじゃぶ池 kiddie wading pool they do in the summer too. Other stuff: The big 広場 area has a flea market on Saturdays or Sundays a once or twice a month.
  • Nice park inside Shinjuku area. It is in front of TMGB building and easy acess from Shinjuku Station. Summer time you can see many food trucks at the park.
  • A very nice place to relax for a little while. Nothing spectacular (Although there are some great views of the skyscrapers nearby) but nothing wrong with it either
  • My kid loved it, especially the slides. Very nice and clean place. The bathrooms are very clean too. We spent almost 3 hours there, and I mean the playground only!
  • This park was OK if you want to have 5km run, in the morning on weekdays you get accompany from students who are doing the exercise
