  • It is a small temple, barely indicated on guidebooks, there is so much to the Japan. I could see his roof from the top of the panorama of the Town Hall of Tokyo. I went to a picnic at the pretty Park that surrounds it, with beautiful blooms. And surprise, this small temple is at the north end, with very few tourists, but quite a passage of practitioners. There are several pretty statues to see, a small red bridge and especially gorgeous palanquin at the end near the torii, which are presented behind glass cases. The tour takes a few minutes, it is charming and pleasant.

  • The Central Park is a large park on the outskirts of the capital. Say the next, Kumano shrine. Utsushi tocoroken'arawa from Kishu Kumano Sanzan in the Muromachi age shrine was what would tell it is. So the twelve companies. The OASIS really poccari and vacated. Relaxing in the Park invite you to pray. The cultural district, such as wooden plaque was dedicated to worship old translator. And in the big Festival of the shrine is also worth a look is. The way those carrying Mikoshi is unique and that the bearers staggered to swing.

  • Kumano Shrine is apparently from the 10th century but still beautiful and well maintained. It's peaceful and photogenic but hoping people continue to be respectful of those using it.  more »

  • Overall it was okay. It was an interesting area to look at but unfortunately I couldn't find any descriptions of the buildings in English. I do not fault the Japanese people for this, after all, it is their shrine and they want to minimize tourism to the area then it's their choice. One thing that was pretty cool is the pamphlets of local things to do (both English and Japanese) that they had at the top of the steps.
  • The shrine is very gorgeous. Many students come here for wishing good grade in school.
  • This is a spiritual place and you can really go in there is so peaceful.
