  • I think if you're interested in the train, but it doesn't hurt. From Shinjuku, can be reached by subway or city bus. Located in residential area, kinda hard to understand. At the entrance to old capital has a huge layout and entering the building there was a short line, Japan's top maker one KATO a collective made. Like dazzles with its products currently on the market, and fun just watching the number of trains it is exhilarating. Though the price is price. Elsewhere, you can buy products online will be hesitant. So when looking for bargains in junk and hobby Center original product is recommended. If you do not know ask staff will tell you politely. On the second floor layout repair corners and lending. N-Gage is 500 yen shop and could use tickets for 25 minutes. Also run your favorite rental car, but OK. Do not sidetrack the sheds (lul). By switching is not. I never get tired of if you like train, and.

  • I was keen to visit as I wanted to purchase some Kato starter kits and track to begin a setup for my kids. My two boys (6 and 3) already love model trains, so figured the displays alone would occupy t...  more »
  • I visited ask let lectures for the sloppy train cars for the first time purchased for my son's birthday is how to remove the link, and it ain't no beginner's book. If it rains, arrived at 3:00 PM. About elementary school children-were to see plenty of older people. On the first floor is a shop. Diorama. Tools and repair parts and bought anything more than 500 yen on the first floor experience driving on the second floor there was a diorama can be 25. KATO brought questioning the issues noted above consolidation from the clerk on the second floor and your bound to really smooth, and how to remove and carefully taught to our family. Also told me I think no book on how to handle the basics, but basic set of tracks, including a description, so line take a look at this time in simple, so I align and more fun. So you can understand my son talk to me, I liked. Found better to first prepare the set has brought the vehicle to popondetta now because prices are more expensive, running only on the line, now the new model, not the line or the controller. Then served in the 1st floor purchase price of 700 yen for children railway magazine, also on the diorama. I told my son is much more fun. Children disappointing you think might enjoy if you train like a child!

  • My kids love it here. Even if you're not a model train hobbyist, it's great place to kill time, especially on a rainy day. The replica layouts of Tokyo are super detailed, with cut out views of underground stations and people waiting in the platform. Some sections feature older style buildings and cars on the road, allowing you to travel back in time to old Japan.
  • Amazing places with lots of model trains. They provided not only model trains but also sceneries. Worth to pay a visit if you are a fan of model train.
  • The Kato shop was amazing. It is a spacious showroom with many very large model railroad tracks. There is also a store with their latest products. If you buy something for 500 yen minimum, it allows you to use the train tracks for 30 minutes with a train of our choice. Great place!!
  • Worth a visit, not too far from Tokyo, maybe 15 mins by train. 45 min walk to Ikebukero(?) If you like model railway, an easy place to spend an hour, maybe two browsing and even running a train or two or three. Probably not a place for the partner.... (just saying) Kids YES... AND a nice ramen shop with an english menu near the station.
  • Close to Shinjuku. Can buy all the accessories and train models here. You can also have a test on their layouts.
