  • If you are fond of all things Japanese, this is another excellent example of Japanese architecture, heritage and culture. Nice quiet area and worth the walk.  more »
  • After Waseda University Waseda Street holes hachimangu shrine. Vermilion Torii ⛩ stays in the eye for the very loud. Mounted archery Samurai at the side of the gate. Anything higher is famous for the takadanobaba Yabusame. During the war after the war, had suspended like the recently resumed, every year to play that seems to be. Tap and go up the stairs and greets hole hachimangu shrine main shrine, but hurts the eyes becoming red attack. Riche! You left too soon. MOSS-grown beside the precinct stands a monument I said probable. What's so Takeshi Emperor worshiping from afar monument. But it seemed greatly appreciate this.

  • Here have arrived in about 4 minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Tozai line Waseda Station Exit 2. We have been to nokyo-sho this time. Little tight staircase to the environment because the shrine is on the Hill.

  • Quite big and beautiful shrine with horse riding archery statues. Very well maintained and colorful. Has a small terrace garden and some huge trees close to the entrance.
  • An absolutely immaculately beautiful temple. It must have been recently restored because it looks brand new. Steep stairs may look like a barrier to some, but if needed you can use a ramp in the back on the north side along waseda-dori. Always something happening here during various festivals and special days.
  • Not bad and worth to go
  • good!!
  • In the prestigious the great main hall. Nokyo-sho differed ink smell, high from takadanobaba station get off at bus station in 3 stops. In front of me. Back from the side of a down next to the temple. Strong! Is a Shinto shrine. Waseda station on the subway on foot 5 minutes why traffic was useful.

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
