  • In 2005, Buri have come to the island. It is like a popular place as a tourist city. Among the vegetation and floating Island forests exist in Shingu city, Wakayama Prefecture. Shingu bundles swamp Island plant communities designated as a natural monument in the country at 4/8/1927. Located on an island made of peat floating vegetation of NUMA IKE from so called. Website reference. Came in 2000, when the water quality is bad odor had now under construction around the island, water is beautiful. Kumano river water because water is improved. Staff provided very hard, study hard now. Because summer is mosquito like bug spray, and might be better. Please note parking is not too great. So I moved past a swamp, so the sight. Rare photographs of old were displayed. I think it funny to anyone who likes plants.

  • Nothing to see unless you are a botanist with a detailed interest in wet land plants. Apparent it was much better in 1945.  more »
  • In the Interior of the island, quite big tree fallen (fallen in the Typhoon), I am surprised. South seas and cold local plants are interspersed with cold water, for it seems valuable.
