Karato market, Shimonoseki

(4/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
Feel the energy and smell the fresh aromas of Karato market, one of the largest fish markets in the region. The two-floor facility includes a large number of stalls selling freshly caught seafood, and the rush of activity makes for an arresting sight. Head up to the second floor to find the main eateries, selling sashimi and cooked dishes. To catch the market in full swing, head down early in the morning when traders and restaurant buyers arrive to buy large amounts of fish and seafood to be prepared across the city. A little after 7 am, the vendors will have a bit more time to answer your questions and chat about the market. • Asked Saturday morning. It was crowded with tourists. Many stores are selling Blowfish sushi and fried foods in the market there. Can you order on the spot, but honestly, is not where to eat. Market, rather than a sushi restaurant.

  • Weekday lunch is recommended. You can all enjoy the fresh fish range building in the market and the hotel's food and beverage outlets. But is shopping in the market can't shop on weekdays to weekends only, sorry.

  • I visited to Shimonoseki travel. This is where I think it is where they sell fresh fish market, so customers, customer is very much alive, even good as a tourist attraction and theme park would not. I'd even eat strolls of Kana. Also, at times also sees a different look interesting. After the daytime hours is able to peep day, afternoon and evening, happened to be walking by and is day and traded in a crowded sushi and seafood rice bowl, many foreign people is decreasing, is on sale too little food. It is easy to walk in the market. It is a surprising contrasts with the hustle and bustle of the day and deserted at night and tranquility. Or rather, was an amazing night market is open to you. I think as Shimonoseki, Shimonoseki trip also wants to come.
