Shima Marine Land, Shima

#1 of 14 in Parks in Shima
Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
Get a close look at diverse marine life at Shima Marine Land, whose largest tank hosts 2,500 fish of 50 different species. Zooming on electric eels and sharptail molas or mambo fish, learn the history of life as told through marine fossils in a special "ancient" aquarium. A giant octopus with 96 tentacles and a large ocean sunfish are the highlight, along with traditional native female divers offering feeding demonstrations. One of the curiosities of the aquarium is an albino bait goldfish which managed to escape predators it had been thrown to and lived in a filtration tank for seven years. • Visit the couple. So was actually get in a sweepstakes 1 free ticket visited by the husband and wife. One Okage Yokocho station across from a convenience store can purchase discounted tickets in there, so buy at your place. Saturday went to the time immediately after the open, but was relatively empty. Near the entrance to the corner of ancient organisms, then a variety of marine wildlife. 10 when I went to look at that a little while ago on the second floor aquarium in AMA's feeding. Quite powerful and a very nice sense of scale of the migratory fish tank. Corner can actually touch the fish on the ground floor, the ocean Sunfish. Sunfish was smaller than had been expected. Fine there are places to sit, relax and feel kinda feel something lacking compared to other aquariums, which is. Does not care about speaking the truth, go pay the price alone.

Where to stay in Shima

Only recently merged into one city, Shima has many different centers, each with its set of accommodations. The main ones of interest for tourists lie close to the train stations, with conveniently placed hotels and guesthouses, and also along the coast. Accommodations dot the rugged coastlines of Ago and Matoya bays, where some particularly exclusive options enjoy extensive coastal views, onsite spas, and restaurants. Standing next to them, in only slightly less privileged positions, you'll find a number of guesthouses and simple hotels.
