  • About 5 minutes walk the sidewalks lined with souvenir, pearls sold from a nearby private car park (300 yen). Admission fee (donation) 200 yen, the view from the top is the best.

  • Hotels near check-in until time had stopped. Lighthouse near the narrow alleys, and dried and pearls shop can be found there. No modern feel, you can feel the look has evolved as a port since ancient times. Like a port, there are many cats. Far from the lighthouse of the Pacific. The scenery is spectacular, but runs rough and the hardest part is just the'm. Like from the hill located in personally, than the view from the lighthouse, Lighthouse away from the lighthouse and the sea view on the set. However, that do not direct cars to the lighthouse (use the pay parking lot away), may be steep, supermarket and convenience store close to not note that. This is very well put in a rustic, old-fashioned atmosphere.

  • Due to my poor eyesight? Wasn't saying too much can sense the roundness of the Pacific (ISE Bay? ) Of the spike the rough scene is spectacular! But certainly through far. White or Lighthouse is quite a sight. This is the lighthouse has become the guiding principle of the sea. To the Lighthouse is 200 yen admission fee is (along with donations).

Where to stay in Shima

Only recently merged into one city, Shima has many different centers, each with its set of accommodations. The main ones of interest for tourists lie close to the train stations, with conveniently placed hotels and guesthouses, and also along the coast. Accommodations dot the rugged coastlines of Ago and Matoya bays, where some particularly exclusive options enjoy extensive coastal views, onsite spas, and restaurants. Standing next to them, in only slightly less privileged positions, you'll find a number of guesthouses and simple hotels.
