Where to stay in Shikotsu-Toya National Park

Shikotsu-Toya National Park has a welcome number of accommodations, making use of the scenery without impinging on the natural highlights. As such, hotels sit by the banks of the two main lakes, while onsen towns offer relaxing spa retreats in the geothermal areas. A couple of camping grounds provide a good choice for budget travelers and outdoor enthusiasts.   • Stunning mountain rising from a flat plain. Big surprise if you've not seen it before. Many ski fields have Yoteisan as a backdrop, making it even more surreal.  more »
