  • If you've got any kids at home, or just especially geeky friends, this is an amazing one-stop shop for toys and merchandise. It's split over a few floors with areas for everything from Moomins to Lego...  more »
  • I mainly go to buy Snoopy goods, this kiddies land is very large, in addition to Snoopy there are many other cute cartoon characters in the upper and lower floor, there is a total of three floor including the basement of the store is the most special is the full amount can be directly exempt from tax, but the current food is not exempt from tax.

  • From the first floor up to the 4th floor of a cute and nice as full characters kiddy land! Children, of course, as far as the favourite place for adults, but the small stairs and the elevator will get around to using.

  • Seriously such a cool place. I wasn't even planning on going into this store, but my Japanese friends encouraged us to do so! It was one of the highlights of my trip in Japan, for sure. Everything is clean and well organized. The different floors sell different brands, so if you're more into one thing than another, it's easy to navigate. There are stairs but there is also an elevator. Good prices and a great place to buy souvenirs. Don't pass this place up. Even if you're not big into toys, it's just a neat place to visit! Staff was incredibly friendly, and spoke decent amounts of English, so it's good for tourists.
  • Kiddy Land is a bit of a throwback toy store that you do not really see in the US any more. We have been to it on both our trips to Tokyo and it was wildly popular with all of us. Each floor is roughly themed and then each part of that theme is partitioned with the type of toy or character. The place is kind of narrow so it feels congested but it was never impossible to move around. There was something for everyone, I bought a really cool exclusive Star Wars Tokyo shirt there. I was a bit worried it may not fit (being a tall American, clothes in Asia are a bit of a misadventure). The sales clerk opened up the packaging and let me examine it. Which is a sign of a great staff.
  • Loved this multi-floor wonderland of nostalgia and all things cute! Only thing is, if it seems like it needs assistance to retrieve, then ask for assistance b/c they don’t like the DIY attitude! lol
  • Excellent toy shop with very friendly staff. Several floors arranged well with great selection. Warning to not take your kids with you, as they'll never want to leave!
  • Great collection of Japan exclusive and popular products from Disney, Star Wars, Moomin, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, and many other Japanese child friendly brands. Great for souvenirs and toy shopping. Both for kids and adults!

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
