Find peace away from the hustle and bustle of one of the world’s busiest cities at Todoroki Valley. The 1.2 km (0.75 mi) long oasis treats you to a peaceful stroll beneath shady trees, alongside a stream, and over small wooden bridges. Travel deeper into the valley to come across the Heian-period shrine, Todoroki, from which you can see a waterfall that monks used for spiritual training. The short trail leading through the valley leaves you with plenty of energy. Visit the neighboring Japanese garden, from which you can enjoy views over the city. See Todoroki Valley and all Tokyo has to offer by arranging your trip with our Tokyo vacation planner.
