  • I have been through more than 30 years. After going underground temples, the cranky Temple women of Naiku pray still of what said, was very uncomfortable about. What happened to this temple? Words giving directions or something other who is coming from the ground in the Middle coming up from the basement, the woman also was edgier feel. It was very serene Temple is very bad.

  • Here is the 'Tamagawa Daishi'. The formal name of the temple is called 'm. hospital' (Buddhism). In front of the main building was ' is the longevity of Bell's introduction of India (Gong). It seems to 1 stroke 100 yen. Of extending the life span of many years by 1 stroke? In the basement of this shrine of Buddha and 300 Buddha is enshrined. Roku-jizos like environment, wearing a 'wildlife monument' and Red Hat were enshrined. And these pretty votive amulet (? ) Was established also hang. EMA depicts kōbō-Daishi and the amulet 'jizo 'or' Dharma '' pretty Dolly's is like. However, this temple is pretty much in ruins.

  • An amazing Temple and well worth the visit. The small staircase leading underneath the Temple is not labeled in English but I assure you it's ok to go down. Once you go down, you walk through short passages in complete darkness leading to a small dimly lit, incense infused underground Temple lined with Buddha statues.
  • This temple may not be great for Instagram, but it's definitely a memorable experience. The underground passage really allows you to get away from the crowds and actually have an authentic moment. I enjoyed this much more than all the famous photogenic temples, and am glad I took the time to explore this unique little gem.
  • From the outside it looks just like any other temple in Japan. But once u get into the Buddha chamber... It looks like a scene striaght out of Indiana's movie. And weird thing is, I am constantly thinking back about my visit there even after a while now
  • Awesome underground Buddha shrine. Touch your Buddha birth year for long life & good luck.
  • Excellent
