  • Very cool temple. I only wish the the neighborhood would do more to guide visitors to the correct entrance. Very tricky to access even with GPS.
  • A very nice temple reminding a bit the atmosphere of Kyoto, plenty of maples which must be amazing in October, and a few cherry trees which will surely make the temple a good spot in spring
  • Beautiful place, was difficult to find entrance but we made it :) Surprisingly was not crowded (only few people there, waking) I blame sign forbidding playing Pokémon go for that ;)
  • Beautiful temple and grounds. This is the fabled home of "Tama", the original Manekineko (lucky cat with raised paw). Google the story, it is wonderful. Be sure to see the shrine where people leave small manekineko statues to ensure good health for their pet cats - there are probably several thousand of these little statues there at any given time. The people there are very friendly, and it is a bit of a walk from the train station to the temple but it is well worth it. Five stars!
  • Great temple with a lot of maneki-neko... It is said that maneki-neko originates from this temple (however there are more legends). There is a large park and also large graveyard. Quite nice place for walks, hanami and watching autumn leaves.
