This is a really familiar and went to high school in the neighborhood because it was a student at the art museum. Art exhibition is, of course, also graduated from photos taken with the whole class in the backyard, and may also be using a gallery, library and workshop in the basement stairs. That the advantages of the Museum of fine arts here are exhibited artists such as Henry Moore's sculptures around the outside of the hotel. Also, see Sendai carving edge deep SATO churyo (famous for children's books "the giant turnip" painting) is the Permanent Gallery. You can use only Cafe, in Sendai and doing in the Museum Cafe Mozart Atelier Cafe Mozart's long-established, without looking at the art. From Sendai station and bus in 10-15 minutes. Even tourist spots circulating in addition to the normal city bus toward the Kawauchi bus rubles Sendai can be reached. Walk in 25-30 minutes. Worse, leisurely walk across the large bridge over the Hirose River. In addition, it is recommended to go by car because the parking is free.

I went to the Renoir exhibition. Because, even though it was Sunday observed relatively slowly. Museums in Ueno per if this doesn't feel very special. Delicious cake that features an on-site cafe mort Alto. Next time I want to see for the permanent exhibition.

One of the best museums in Sendai. The permanent collection is interesting but the rotating exhibition gives something new to expect every time. Also it has great garden with cool scultures.

Cute sculpture garden and decent permanent collection. Didn't get a chance to see the special exhibit but many people were going there so perhaps it would be worth a visit next time.

The sculpture area (both inside and outside the building) is well worth the entry fee. They show case the bronze work of a local artist who has impeccable skill in capturing the human form.

not that many people here, so it's good to watch and learn the art slowly and quietly. and don't forget to walk around outside the museum.

Where to stay in Sendai

In the city center of Sendai, you'll find a good range of budget and luxury accommodations to suit a range of tastes. From standard high-rise hotels to traditional "ryokan" (guesthouses), they sit pretty close to the main train station, forming clusters around the main public parks, commercial developments, and temples. The surrounding landscape features a number of "onsen" (traditional Japanese spas) located in clusters around hot springs. Take a look close at Mount Okura and Kamakurayama for some of the most concentrated patches of spa retreats.
