  • It's a nice quiet place nestled in Sendai city. Quiet, peaceful, and the view of the pagoda is different depending on the season that you visit. I was able to find the place easily as I'm fluent in Ja...  more »

  • This place is very close to where I live at the moment. I enjoy going here in my free time. The best part of the temple is the Japanese garden at the back yard. You have to pay 300 yen to enter but it's kinda worth it. Either summer, spring or winter gives you different view. The best for me perhaps is autumn. The colors are just gorgeous. Also to be noted you can experience meditation here on the weekend. Ask the temple office for more information.
  • Nice and calm little temple. The garden seems small but there is a lot to see.
  • Nice place. The temple and its garden have a new dress at each season. Spiritual moment with the nature and the old temple.
  • It was absolutely stunning, the garden were beautiful and it's a really peaceful stop away from crowds.
