Where to stay in Sendai

In the city center of Sendai, you'll find a good range of budget and luxury accommodations to suit a range of tastes. From standard high-rise hotels to traditional "ryokan" (guesthouses), they sit pretty close to the main train station, forming clusters around the main public parks, commercial developments, and temples. The surrounding landscape features a number of "onsen" (traditional Japanese spas) located in clusters around hot springs. Take a look close at Mount Okura and Kamakurayama for some of the most concentrated patches of spa retreats.

  • Fun place to watch baseball.
  • An excellent modern stadium, not to mention exciting to watch team. 2016 season brings real grass, free Wi-Fi, and a ferris wheel! Easy access via shuttle on game day from Sendai Staiton, or just walk 20 minutes. Fun times and English website to stay updated!
  • I like to watch softball here
