It is equipped with banks of the flow on the Western side of kakunodate bukeyashiki hinokinai promenade. Known for its cherry blossoms, Japan Sakura 100 are chosen. The many old Samurai residences and hinokinai cherry, who speaking of kakunodate. On the Bank of the Samurai residence side often planted cherry trees, colored pink in springtime banks in the spring. By uchikawa River Bridge South of Castle bridge on the north side of the main part of the promenade, lies about 2 km away. You can go near the River are fitted with stairs on the way on the way down from the Bank. It would be better stopped down the stairs outside, is quite dangerous. Have a rest on the way so there are benches that can be. It is recommended to go in because the road is not paved, walking shoes. Getting there is easy and leave the kakunodate station stands signs. Signs without getting lost if you follow excellently. Using taxi is troublesome because it is about 1.5 km away. There are buses not running less frequently. It would be better if take the bus, get off at the street cross bus station. Personal recommendation is the walk toward North Castle bridge from the uchikawa River Bridge on the South side. Red railing of Bridge Street and cherry blossom pink and lovely views. Cut down the Festival was when I visited was still in full bloom. Cherry is still very nice. Visited as early as 2013, but when cold Dim not blooming cherry blossoms, was pretty bad view. There is story of Samurai House in kakunodate is a beautiful colored leaves and snowy landscapes, but I think hinokinai is still cherry. Quite difficult I think, but come cherry blossoms bloom clear time aim for go try.
