Sapporo International Ski Place, Sapporo

(4.2/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
A little-known and modest ski resort, Sapporo International Ski Place supposedly boasts some the largest annual snowfalls around, serving as a magnet for those looking for some fresh powder to frolic in. Across its seven slopes, the resort specializes in beginner and intermediate runs, as well as some not particularly challenging black runs. Beginners can take lessons at the resort, with the easygoing runs and good conditions making this a good place to test the water if you're new to the sport. The base of the mountain harbors cafes, equipment hire, and sports shops, but little more in the way of amenities. Though frowned upon, expert skiers may be attracted to this location for its large off-piste areas, which remain unguarded. • Think the best snow in the ski resort of Sapporo city. In addition, new lifts are made for good ride in the 2016-2017 season further rose favored.

  • By serendipity, the hotel pick up coach was full so I had to take the bus from the Sapporo bus terminal which was easy to get too and within walking distance via the underpass from my hotel. Not only ...  more »
  • I went to the international ski area. Better than Niseko snow. The course is less. Stand for is a new ticket office also installed new lifts as well as from this year, that's fine, but the ticket was IC card or messed up if you became too bad.
