Sapporo Community Dome, widely known for its nickname "Tsudome", is a multi-purpose hall located in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Owned by Sapporo city, the dome is run by the Sapporo Health Sports Foundation.OverviewThe dome is 132.4 m in diameter, 43 m in height, and has an area of 17,865 m². The dome is located on the outskirts of central Sapporo city, and is near Sakaemachi Station, which is on the Tōhō Line of the Sapporo Municipal Subway. The dome also has a park golf course, tennis court, and parking lot.Along with a number of sporting events including marathons, basketball, and football competitions, the dome holds other events such as the Golden Market, which is the biggest flea market in Sapporo and is held annually at the dome.2009 marked the 60th anniversary of the Sapporo Snow Festival, and in this year the second venue of the festival was moved from the Sapporo Satoland site to the Tsudome site. This transference of the sites was done to reduce the parking lot costs by restricting a large number of cars visiting from the site and to help alleviate traffic congestion. Although the parking lot has a capacity of 306 cars, the Tsudome site did not allow parking for cars and asked visitors to use public transportation to reach the Tsudome site during the Festival this year. Sapporo Dome is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Sapporo Edition.

  • Is a dome-shaped Stadium from the end the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho line fukuzumi station on foot 10 minutes or so, never better access would not be so without worrying about the weather. It has been improved from the previous Stadium gourmet cannot be expected too much. Nice Stadium seems to want to take a little bit longer and I.

  • I heard in the away game with Hokkaido consadole Sapporo. Because the air conditioning is working even in midsummer you can watch comfortably. From the goal back height easily seen some minutes a game.

  • From fukuzumi STA. walk about 10 minutes. When fighters games or concerts around traffic jams, taxis are also difficult to get hold. No concerts at open children's playground.

  • It’s a fun place for family especially when there is a game going on!
  • My elder son and I were here on January 22, 2016, the first day of Sapporo auto show 2016. Having got off from the nearest underground station, we walked for about 10-15 minutes under snow storms to get here and pay the entrance fee Y1100 at the spot. Inside the dome, the cars and models being displayed were hot!
  • Magnificent stadium. Saw England beat Argentina in the world cup here. They roll the field out to get natural sunlight etc.
  • It's a amazing architecture with high technology and unique outlook. You can visit the viewing deck to see the panorama of Sapporo.
  • I attended the game between Fighters and Marines. It was first time to watch a dome game which was a bit weird comparing to open stadiums. It is always interesting and enjoyable to see locals rooting for their favorite team.
